A Dinesen floor can after it has been sanded and washed with wood cleaner be finished with Dinesen oil.
Dinesen oil provides a strong surface and a good protection against impoverishment in case of a low humidity.
Please note that walking traces may appear on oil finished floors as the layer of oil is worn down. Therefore, you need to add maintenance oil when required. The application of maintenance oil must be done in accordance with the use of the room, as the oil needs to dry.
Floor oils are available in white and natural, and the end results differ widely from each other.
White oil only will make the floor a bit darker, and natural oil will make the floor very dark. Therefore, Dinesen recommends performing a small test before finishing the entire floor.
The floor is cleaned by washing it with white soap or natural soap.
