Since 1987, the Danish gallery owner Mikael Andersen has been running a gallery with Danish and international contemporary art. One gallery is placed in a closed down brewery in Berlin. After extensive renovation, the building on Prenzlauer Berg accommodates both a gallery, an artist’s home with studio and the private residence of Mikael Andersen.

The residence is situated across from the gallery and is decorated with Scandinavian design. In the apartment you also find Mikael Andersen’s collection of mainly German, Danish, Japanese and South African art, plus a large collection of West Germany Ceramics from the 1960s.
