The exclusive village of Gstaad in the south-western corner of the country is known especially as a winter playground for the European jet set. But only a few kilometres away in Gsteig, the pulsating lifestyle has given way to an atmosphere of peace and calm. This is where the charming cabin is located.
In cooperation with designer Laurence Rouveure, the architects Benz Hauswirth and Federico Neder have created a contemporary holiday home with large open spaces and a timeless decor.
The cabin has three floors. In the basement and on the ground floor, there are five en suite bedrooms. The basement also features a ski room, a steam bath and a wine cellar. The second floor of the house features a kitchen and a large living room.
All floors are made of Dinesen Douglas planks in full lengths. The widest planks are chosen for the living rooms.
