Dinesen Showroom Copenhagen is a place for inspiration. Its everchanging interior scene is designed to awaken our senses and make the connection with nature as we step inside the historic building where two spaces are unveiled as the Dinesen Gallery and the Dinesen Apartment by John Pawson.

On the corner of Søtorvet, in an 1875 building rich in memories and classical architecture, Dinesen Showroom Copenhagen subtly shows on the ground floor. Discover how nature’s calm and serenity are embraced in Dinesen Apartment by John Pawson, while excitement and curiosity are evoked when entering Dinesen Gallery. Different stories unfold in each part of the showroom, all of which capture the essence of the Dinesen brand, designed to enrich our lives.

Dinesen Gallery: A space for stimulation

Dinesen Gallery presents its multifaceted qualities, showcasing experiments, exhibitions and exploration across the fields of design, art and architecture. A playground of wonder that aims to stimulate your senses through odour, colours, forms, perception and more. Expect the unexpected!

Architectural studio Office Kim Lenschow is behind the Dinesen Gallery transformation, which emphasises materials and revitalises what already exists. Through subtle design updates, a layered experience unfolds, with vertical and horizontal wooden surfaces flanked by Blēo-coloured walls. Final details become apparent when looking up, where gentle lighting and a soft framework by LEGIO, Viabizzuno and Kvadrat enclose the space. In this setting, wall and ceiling cladding are showcased through handcrafted solutions and wooden sliding doors, created in collaboration with Vahle, to make space for new vertical product displays.

Dinesen Apartment by John Pawson: A space for relaxation

Enter Dinesen Apartment by John Pawson, and the sense of home envelopes you. The familiar is embodied in this aesthetic space, where recognisable strokes of design, appealing colours and balancing materials and textures create an atmosphere soothing for your soul.

Each part of the showroom serves a purpose engrained in the Dinesen brand – the grand, natural aesthetic of Dinesen Apartment by John Pawson and the playful, explorative possibilities embedded in Dinesen Gallery. While one stays timeless, the other is contemporary. Thus, Dinesen Gallery always represents Dinesen's collaborations in curious displays.
