Together, the Danish kitchen company Reform and the sustainable architecture and design group Lendager Group have developed the kitchen UP with Dinesen Douglas off cuts.
Reform is a Danish design company that specializes in kitchens built on basic elements from IKEA's kitchen range. The mission of Reform is to make good design accessible to a wide audience while pushing the boundaries of the kitchen space and establishing partnerships with internationally renowned architects and designers who are forward-looking, culturally curious and driven by the desire to create better kitchens with people in the center.
With UP, Lendager Group has designed a kitchen for Reform, using leftover wood from our production of Douglas planks. UP is a circular kitchen inspired by the classic carpenter kitchens.
The natural qualities and recycling possibilities of the materials have been essential to the design. A minimalist design in solid wood with respect for materials and our environment.
