Dinesen has been a “Founding Patron of Saatchi Gallery” since 2008, when new Douglas wooden floors were laid in the 14 large exhibition rooms of the gallery. Allford Hall Monaghan Morris was behind the renovation of the impressive gallery near London’s Sloane Square.
At the Danish art centre, Copenhagen Contemporary, a former industrial hall is transformed into an immersive environment shaped by elemental forces. A tactile art piece has emerged in the collaboration between Material Think Space, Dinesen and Bank of Materials. With offcuts of Dinesen Douglas fir provided by Bank of Materials, Material Think Space has developed a sculptural artefact for an interim exhibition at Dinesen’s Showrooms in Aarhus and Copenhagen.
